History

The Internet Golf Store team has over 6 years of internet retailing experience.

We have a partner site in www.lefthandedgolf.co.uk, which is Europe’s leading supplier of left handed golf equipment.  Launched by PGA Professional Terry Sims, Left Handed Golf takes pride in offering left handed golfer’s a right handed service, which has been rare until now.

In response to high demand from the right-handed golfing community, www.righthandedgolf.co.uk was launched in 2008. Its success identified a genuine need for superior levels of service from experienced Golf Pro's - at Internet prices!

This business has now been refined, improved and re-launched by Terry Sims and fellow PGA Professional Barry Young to create www.internetgolfstore.co.uk where you can access the same levels of expertise as before, but with a broader range of stock, both online and in our new store.

We have a walk in high street store, which is fully stocked with the latest golf equipment, as well as a range of golf accessories, clothing and shoes.

Features of the store include:

• A ladies room in the store, which is fully stocked with the latest ladies clothing, clubs and accessories.
• Large stockist of electric trolleys,  trolley accessories and full repair and service facility.
• In stock junior golf equipment, from package sets and individual clubs to clothing and shoes.
• Custom fit putting facility, where we can analyse your stroke and work out what type of putter is suited to you from our large range of putters.  We can fit loft, lie and length to your needs.

Expert advice is always available from our staff, and under the management of PGA Professional Barry Young we aim to provide a 100% quality service.

Custom fitting and trying out equipment

For those looking to try out equipment, we have the largest selection of  demo clubs available to be tested.

What is a Custom Fit?

When we custom fit golf clubs this means we design the clubs to fit your needs.  When looking at a new set of irons, we offer a huge range of irons to try out from different brands, and you can compare them to each other, giving you total control of what feels good.

After narrowing your selection to 2-3, we can then take into account your:

• Static Height
• Dynamic Posture (During the swing)
• Swing Speed
• Ball Flight etc

We can then finetune the clubs to suit your requirements; our demo clubs are available in different shaft/heads/grips with which we can alter to get your perfect fit.

Custom golf clubs can take 7-10 working days to be built, which is direct from the manufacturer, ensuring that the build is to the highest quality, and each set is issued with a guarantee certificate.

Fitting Prices

Driver/Woods Fitting - £25 (Refunded on purchase)

Irons Fitting - £50 (Refunded on purchase)

On purchase of the clubs, we will refund your full fitting fee.  This is valid for 3 months.

We are extremely competitive on our prices, and pride ourselves on our fantastic service.  As the fitting takes 45-60 mins using the latest technology and equipment, it is the ultimate fitting experience.

You can also book a FREE custom fit appointment where we can allocate a PGA Professional to help custom fit to your specific needs.  Also, we can static fit you on-line .

We are an authorised custom fit centre with all major golf manufacturers, and we have all the latest equipment in different specifications which are all available to try.  Our customer service is rated highly, with our staff winning Mizuno club fitters of the year 2009.
